Pure art in geocoins

Albany Carousel & Museum Geocoin

The Albany Carousel & Museum geocoin was designed as a fundraiser for the Historic Albany Carousel & Museum in Albany, Oregon. This marks the first in a series of geocoins for the museum, who would like to feature all 63 carousel animals and chariots.

The design of the coin depicts the museum logo (which is also the geocaching icon), with the text of the coin reading "Historic Carousel & Museum" across the top, and "Albany, Oregon" across the bottom. The text and logo are in raised metal. There is filigree in half raised metal on the sides.

The reverse features the first 6 animals on the carousel. (Frog, Bison, Llama, Salmon, Elephant & Dog). All animals are in full 3D surrounded by enamel. The coin is epoxy coated to retain smoothness on both sides.

The coin is packaged in a clear acrylic case and set into a velvet box. Shipping weight for a single coin is 4.3oz.

You can learn about the Albany Carousel, its mission and all about the funding efforts by visiting them at the following URL: http://www.albanycarousel.com

Both Visual Euphoria Designs and the Albany Carousel websites will have this coin listed on their websites for US$15.00+shipping.

(I will only be charging you ACTUAL shipping, so if this cart should charge you extra - rest assured you will receive a refund for the difference.) The shipping module is being fine-tuned to get as close as possible, so your patience is appreciated.
